6 buses to ply in Silchar to ferry govt employees

২০ এপ্রিল : আগামী ২১ এপ্রিল থেকে কাছাড়ের জেলা প্রশাসন শিলচর শহরের বিভিন্ন এলাকায় সরকারি কর্মচারীদের তাদের নিজ নিজ কার্যালয়ে আসা-যাওয়া করার জন্য বাসের ব্যবস্থা করেছেl

জেলা পরিবহন আধিকারিকের সহযোগিতায় শিলচর শহরের ৬টি এলাকা থেকে বাসগুলি চালানো হবে l স্থানগুলি হচ্ছে মালুগ্রাম দেবীপ্রসাদ পাঠশালা পয়েন্ট, রংপুর মহাসড়ক পয়েন্ট, রামনগর চিরুকান্দি পয়েন্ট,সোনাই রোড জাংগিয়ানা পেট্রোল পাম্প পয়েন্ট, শিলচর মেডিকেল কলেজ সংলগ্ন ঘুংঘুর পয়েন্ট এবং কলেজ রোডের চেংকুড়ি পয়েন্টl ছাড়বে সকাল ৯টায়৷ সংশ্লিষ্ট এলাকার কর্মচারীদের নির্ধারিত সময়ের মধ্যে বাসে এসে বসতে হবে এবং বাসের মধ্যেও সামাজিক দূরত্ব বজায় রাখতে হবে৷ প্রতি বাসে মোট আসনের ৫০ শতাংশ যাত্রীই শুধু বসতে পারবেন বলে শিলচর জনসংযোগের প্রেসবার্তায় জানানো হয়েছেl

কাছাড়ের জেলাশাসক বর্ণালী শর্মা সর্বাবস্থায় সকলকে বাসে সামাজিক দূরত্ব বজায় রেখে চলার আহ্বান জানিয়েছেন l

April 20: Cachar district administration has made arrangement for buses to ferry government employees to their offices from 20 April. Six buses will ply daily on all working days from 6 different locations in Silchar.

In collaboration with District Transport Department, the buses were arranged by the district administration. The six spots from where these buses will leave are Malugram Deviprasad Pathshala, Rongpur Maha Sadak point, Ramnagar Chirukandi point, Ghungoor point near Silchar Medical College and Chengkuri point of College Road. As part of the arrangement, the buses will start operating from these points at 9 AM.

Deputy Commissioner Barnali Sharma said that only 50 percent of the seats in the buses could be occupied.  The employees shall be dropped back at the respective points in the evening. The facilities shall continue till the lockdown phase expires. The Deputy Commissioner has asked all to strictly maintain social distancing while traveling by the buses.
