1 more COVID-19 positive case with Markaz connection, total reaches 25

April 4: Nizamuddin Markaz seems to be playing havoc with Assam. Another coronavirus positive case was reported at 11.16 AM on 4 April from North Lakhimpur District of Assam. With this, the total number of corona infected cases in Assam reached 25. This was informed in a tweet by state Health Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma. This positive case is also related to Nizamuddin Markaz.

Alert ~ One more #Covid_19 positive case from North Lakhimpur District has been confirmed, taking the total number in Assam to 25.

This patient is also related to #NizamuddinMarkaz event in Delhi.

Out of the total 25 COVID-19 positive cases in Assam, 24 of them are attendees of Nizamuddin Markaz. Till now, there are many who are absconding and have not reported to the authorities inspite of repeated appeal by the government.
