২৭ সেপ্টেম্বরঃ অবশেষে পাহাড় লাইন স্বাভাবিক হল। আজ সকালে রুটিন মেনেই শিলচর-গুয়াহাটি ট্রেন ছাড়া হয়। পরে যাত্রীবিহীন ত্রিবান্দ্রম এক্সপ্রেস দুর্ঘটনাস্থল পেরিয়ে শিলচর আসে। যাত্রী নিয়ে আসে কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা এক্সপ্রেস। ত্রিবান্দ্রম এক্সপ্রেস যথাসময়ে শিলচর থেকে ছাড়ে। যাওয়া-আসা করে পরবর্তী অন্য সব ট্রেনও।

September 27: Finally, normalcy has returned in the hill section. Today morning, the Silchar-Guwahati train departed as per schedule. Later on, the Trivandrum Express also reached Silchar after the safely crossing the spot of accident. Kanchenjunga Express too reached on time. The Trivandrum Express also left from Silchar at the correct time. The other trains also arrived and departed as per schedule.
