“Janata Curfew” extended for 11 hours till 8 AM on 23 March in Assam: CM Sonowal

March 22: “The 14 hours “Janata Curfew” observed in India has been extended for another 11 hours till 8 AM on 23 March in the state of Assam by Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal. In a video released by Assam Police on Instagram, CM Sonowal appealed to the people of the state to continue with the curfew wholeheartedly. The Chief Minister urged upon the people not to come out and gather even after the curfew period as prevention of mass gathering is an important step in combating the spreading the COVID-19 virus.
