IPL postponed, to start on 15 April

March 13: In the backdrop of Coronavirus scare, Indian Premier League (IPL), which was supposed to begin from 29 March has been postponed to 15 April, 2020.

As per reports, the government has asked the organizers not to conduct the tournament at this critical juncture. There are 75 confirmed cases of Coronavirus now in India. Meanwhile, the 1st death in the country occurred in Karnataka.
