Leo Club of Karimganj Youth organises Mega Art competition in Karimganj College
করিমগঞ্জ কলেজে মেগা অঙ্কন প্রতিযোগিতা লিও ক্লাবের

December 27: Leo Club of Karimganj Youth, the youth wing of Lions Club of Karimganj successfully organised a mega art competition in Karimganj College on last Sunday. More than 150 students participated in the art competition under 4 categories. After the art competition, some games were also played there.

For Group A, those from KG to Class I participated and were asked to draw anything of their own choice. Those kids who won prizes in Group A are Darshana Choudhury (1st), Sakshi Nath (2nd) and Simran Banik (3rd).

Students studying in Class II to IV were in Group B and were asked to do ‘Natural Painting.’ In this group, Dantal Ahmed Talukdar secured the first position, whereas Ankana Paul and Nabajyoti Paul got 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively.

The theme for Group C was ‘Christmas.’ Students from Class V to VII participated in this group. Paulomi Nath stood 1st in this group. Pallab Chakraborty secured 2nd position, while Rohan Dev got the 3rd prize.

Students of Class VIII to X took part in Group D and were given the theme ‘Ancient History.’ The 1st position in Group D was secured by Monojyoti Dey. The 2nd and 3rd prizes were won by Anupam Roy and Ankita Sharma respectively.

On behalf of Leo Club of Karimganj Youth, its President Srinath Banik, Project Chairman Rahul Biswas, Rimu Kr. Deb, Samarjit Nandi, Manojeet Dhar, Aparna Dey, Abhishek Chakraborty, Sohan Biswas, Bithika Choudhury, Janmajit Acharjee, Subhajit Dutta and Prateem Kr. Deb were present. Whereas, on behalf of Lions Club of Karimganj, its President Binod Gang, Bijoy Pugalia, Jagadish Banik and Narendra Banik were present.
