Workshop on Professional Skill Development Held at Assam University
পেশাগত দক্ষতা বিকাশে কর্মশালা আয়োজিত আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে

ওয়ে টু বরাক, ১১ অক্টোবর : প্রকল্প প্রস্তাবনা তৈরি, বাজেট প্রণয়ন এবং পেশাগত দক্ষতা বিকাশের লক্ষ্যে আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সমাজকর্ম বিভাগে দু’দিনের এক কর্মশালা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। ‘ব্লুপ্রিন্ট টু ইমপ্যাক্ট: মাস্টারিং প্রপোজাল রাইটিং অ্যান্ড অর্গানাইজেশনাল ম্যানেজমেন্ট’ শীর্ষক এই কর্মশালা ৯ ও ১০ অক্টোবর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বিপিনচন্দ্র পাল মিলনায়তনে আয়োজিত হয়। সমাজকর্ম বিভাগের বিএসডব্লিউ সপ্তম সেমিস্টার, এমএসডব্লিউ প্রথম ও তৃতীয় সেমিস্টারের শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য আয়োজিত এই কর্মশালার উদ্দেশ্য ছিল প্রকল্প পরিকল্পনা, বাজেট তৈরি ও পেশাগত জীবনে সাফল্যের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবহারিক দক্ষতা গড়ে তোলা।

কর্মশালার উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক রাজীব মোহন পন্থ ও বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন অ্যাকাডেমিকসের ডিন অধ্যাপক চিররঞ্জন ভট্টাচার্য এবং বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের প্রাক্তন পরীক্ষা নিয়ন্ত্রক ড. সুপ্রবীর দত্তরায়। সম্মানিত অতিথি হিসেবে বক্তব্য রাখেন কমিউনিটি অ্যাকশন সোসাইটির ডিরেক্টর পার্থ রায়। এছাড়া বিজনেস অ্যাডমিনিস্ট্রেশন বিভাগের প্রধান তথা সিসিপিসির ডিরেক্টর অধ্যাপক দেবমাল্য ঘোষ অনুষ্ঠানে বক্তব্য রাখেন। স্বাগত বক্তব্য পেশ করেন অধ্যাপক শুভব্রত দত্ত। এরপর কর্মশালার উদ্দেশ্য ব্যাখ্যা করেন বিভাগীয় প্রধান অধ্যাপক তরুণ বিকাশ সুকাই। শেষে ধন্যবাদ জ্ঞাপন করেন সমন্বয়ক ড. ঋত্বিকা রাজেন্দ্র।

প্রথম দিনের কারিগরি অধিবেশনে প্রকল্প প্রস্তাবনা তৈরি এবং লিঙ্কডইন প্রোফাইল ও জীবনপঞ্জি বা সিভি উন্নয়নের বিষয়ে প্রশিক্ষণ দেওয়া হয়। পার্থ রায়ের পরিচালনায় প্রকল্প প্রস্তাবনা তৈরির বিভিন্ন ধাপ, সমস্যার প্রকৃতি ও লক্ষ্যগোষ্ঠী চিহ্নিতকরণ, সমস্যার মূল কারণ বিশ্লেষণ এবং প্রকল্পের উদ্দেশ্য নির্ধারণ সম্পর্কে শিক্ষার্থীদের ধারণা দেওয়া হয়। পাশাপাশি নির্দিষ্ট, পরিমাপযোগ্য, অর্জনযোগ্য, প্রাসঙ্গিক ও সময়সীমাবদ্ধ লক্ষ্য নির্ধারণের পদ্ধতি এবং প্রকল্পের ফলাফল মূল্যায়নের কৌশল নিয়ে আলোচনা হয়। প্রকল্পের ঝুঁকি, সম্ভাব্য প্রতিবন্ধকতা ও দীর্ঘমেয়াদি স্থায়িত্বের বিষয়গুলিও গুরুত্ব পায়।

পরবর্তী অধিবেশনে অধ্যাপক দেবমাল্য ঘোষ পেশাগত পরিচিতি গড়ে তোলা, লিঙ্কডইন প্রোফাইল তৈরি এবং আকর্ষণীয় ও কার্যকর সিভি প্রস্তুতির বিভিন্ন দিক তুলে ধরেন। নিয়োগকর্তাদের কাছে পেশাগত অনলাইন প্রোফাইলের গুরুত্ব, প্রোফাইলে ছবি, শিরোনাম, শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা, অভিজ্ঞতা ও দক্ষতার যথাযথ উপস্থাপন এবং পেশাগত আচরণবিধি সম্পর্কে শিক্ষার্থীদের প্রশিক্ষণ দেওয়া হয়। সিভি তৈরির ক্ষেত্রে সাধারণ ভুল এড়ানো এবং অনলাইন টুলের সাহায্যে সিভি প্রস্তুত ও যাচাই করার বিষয়েও পরামর্শ দেওয়া হয়।
কর্মশালার দ্বিতীয় দিনে মানব উন্নয়নমূলক প্রকল্পের বাজেট প্রণয়ন নিয়ে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা হয়। পার্থ রায়ের পরিচালিত এই অধিবেশনে প্রকল্পের কার্যক্রম নির্ধারণ, কর্মপরিকল্পনা তৈরি, বিভিন্ন খরচের হিসাব এবং বাজেটের মোট পরিমাণ যাচাই করার পদ্ধতি শেখানো হয়।

Way2barak, October 11 : A two-day workshop aimed at developing skills in project proposal writing, budget preparation and professional development was organised by the Department of Social Work at Assam University on October 9 and 10. Titled “Blueprint to Impact: Mastering Proposal Writing and Organisational Management,” the workshop was held at the Bipin Chandra Pal Auditorium of the university. It was organised for students of BSW Seventh Semester and MSW First and Third Semesters to equip them with practical skills essential for project planning, budgeting and professional success.

The inaugural session was attended by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rajive Mohan Pant as the chief guest. Dean of Academics Prof. C R Bhattacharjee and former Controller of Examinations of the university Dr. Suprabir Datta Roy attended as special guests. Partha Ray, Director of Community Action Society, addressed the gathering as the guest of honour. Prof. Debomalya Ghosh, Head of the Department of Business Administration and Director of CCPC, also spoke on the occasion. The welcome address was delivered by Prof. Shubhabrata Datta, while Head of the Department of Social Work Prof. Tarun Bikash Sukai explained the objectives of the workshop. Dr. Ritwika Rajendra, the workshop coordinator, proposed the vote of thanks.

The technical sessions on the first day focused on project proposal writing and the development of LinkedIn profiles and curriculum vitae (CVs). Conducting the session on project proposal writing, Partha Ray familiarised the students with the various stages of proposal development, identification of problems and target groups, analysis of root causes, and formulation of project objectives. The session also covered the process of setting Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound (SMART) objectives, along with strategies for evaluating project outcomes. Particular emphasis was placed on project risks, potential challenges and long-term sustainability.

In the subsequent session, Prof. Debomalya Ghosh discussed the importance of building a professional identity, creating effective LinkedIn profiles and preparing attractive and impactful CVs. Students were trained in presenting their photographs, headlines, educational qualifications, professional experience and skills appropriately on online professional platforms. The session also highlighted the importance of maintaining professional etiquette and the role of online profiles in attracting potential employers. Participants were advised on avoiding common mistakes while preparing CVs and using online tools to create and review them.
The second day of the workshop focused on budget preparation for human development projects. Conducted by Partha Ray, the session provided practical insights into identifying project activities, preparing action plans, estimating various expenditures and verifying the overall project budget.
