Maharishi Vidya Mandir Observes International Day of Peace with Call for Non-Violence

way2barak, September 21 : Maharishi Vidya Mandir observed ‘International Peace Day’ today with heartfelt devotion and enthusiasm, aligning with the golbal theme “Invest in Peace for Everyone Everywhere Everyday” and promoting the call for non- violence and a 24 hour global ceasefire.

The event commenced on a spiritual note with teachers chanting of traditional Sanskrit Slokas followed by a group song. The central highlight of the programme was the reading of the peace message from the Honourable Chairman, Maharishi Group of Schools, Shri Brahmananda Girishji reminding everyone of the inner peace that play in fostering global unity. Following the Chairman’s message, all teachers participated in a solemn oath-taking ceremony pledging their commitment to non- violence and harmony.

The second phase of the day’s programme was observed to show a special tribute to the renowned cultural icon Zubeen Garg. The tribute commenced with a respectful floral offering followed by a soulful group performance of the popular song “Mayabini” by the teachers. The programme concluded with the inspirational speech of the Principal on the significance of the day’s programmes followed by group meditation by all the teachers of the school.
