Month-long National Skill Development Training Programme Concludes at Assam University
আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে সম্পন্ন মাসব্যাপী জাতীয় দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মসূচি

ওয়ে টু বরাক, ১ জুলাই : আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মহিন্দ্রা স্কিল ডেভেলপমেন্ট সেন্টারে (এমএসডিসি) আয়োজিত এক মাসব্যাপী জাতীয় দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মসূচি মঙ্গলবার শেষ হয়েছে। ২ জুন থেকে ৩০ জুন আয়োজিত এই প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মসূচিতে গুজরাটের আনন্দ কৃষি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ও আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থীরা অংশগ্রহণ করেন। প্রশিক্ষণ চলাকালীন শিক্ষার্থীদের হাতে-কলমে কারিগরি শিক্ষা, শিল্পক্ষেত্রভিত্তিক প্রশিক্ষণ ও বাস্তবমুখী দক্ষতা অর্জনের সুযোগ করে দেওয়া হয়।

এই কর্মসূচিতে বক্তব্য রাখতে গিয়ে উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক রাজীব মোহন পন্থ বলেন, বর্তমান সময়ে উচ্চশিক্ষার পাশাপাশি দক্ষতাভিত্তিক শিক্ষার গুরুত্ব ক্রমেই বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে। শিক্ষার্থীদের কেবল একাডেমিক জ্ঞান নয়, শিল্পক্ষেত্রে প্রয়োজনীয় দক্ষতা, উদ্ভাবনী চিন্তাভাবনা এবং বাস্তব সমস্যার সমাধানের সক্ষমতাও অর্জন করতে হবে। তিনি বলেন, মহিন্দ্রা স্কিল ডেভেলপমেন্ট সেন্টারের মতো উদ্যোগ ‘বিকশিত ভারত’-এর লক্ষ্য বাস্তবায়নে দক্ষ মানবসম্পদ গড়ে তুলতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করছে।

অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন কৃষি প্রকৌশল বিভাগের অধ্যাপক এম গঙ্গাভূষণ, বিভাগের অন্য শিক্ষক-শিক্ষিকা, মহিন্দ্রা অ্যান্ড মহিন্দ্রার প্রশিক্ষক লালন প্রসাদ যাদব, মহিন্দ্রা স্কিল ডেভেলপমেন্ট সেন্টারের প্রতিনিধি সব্যসাচী দফাদার প্রমুখ। সমাপনী অনুষ্ঠানে কৃষি প্রকৌশল বিভাগের ভারপ্রাপ্ত বিভাগীয় প্রধান এবং মহিন্দ্রা স্কিল ডেভেলপমেন্ট সেন্টারের সমন্বয়কারী ড. অজিতা তিওয়ারি অংশগ্রহণকারীদের অভিনন্দন জানিয়ে বলেন, এই কর্মসূচির মূল উদ্দেশ্য ছিল একাডেমিক শিক্ষা ও শিল্পক্ষেত্রের বাস্তব অভিজ্ঞতার মধ্যে সেতুবন্ধন তৈরি করা। এই প্রশিক্ষণের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থীরা ব্যবহারিক দক্ষতা অর্জনের পাশাপাশি বিশেষজ্ঞদের সঙ্গে মতবিনিময় এবং পেশাগত সক্ষমতা বৃদ্ধির সুযোগ পেয়েছেন।

অনুষ্ঠানে প্রাসঙ্গিক বক্তব্য পেশ করেন প্রশিক্ষণার্থীরাও। মহিন্দ্রা স্কিল ডেভেলপমেন্ট সেন্টারের প্রধান ডন লুইসের বার্তা তুলে ধরে সব্যসাচী দফাদার প্রশিক্ষণার্থীদের নিষ্ঠা, শৃঙ্খলা ও আন্তরিকতার প্রশংসা করেন। তিনি বলেন, শিল্প–শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের অংশীদারিত্বের মাধ্যমে অভিজ্ঞতাভিত্তিক শিক্ষা, উদ্ভাবন ও কর্মসংস্থানমুখী দক্ষতা বিকাশে মহিন্দ্রা স্কিল ডেভেলপমেন্ট সেন্টার নিরন্তর কাজ করে চলেছে।

Way2barak, July 1 : A month-long National Skill Development Training Programme organised by the Mahindra Skill Development Centre (MSDC) at Assam University concluded on Tuesday. Held from June 2 to June 30, the programme brought together students from Anand Agricultural University, Gujarat, and Assam University. During the training, participants received hands-on technical education, industry-oriented training, and practical exposure aimed at enhancing their professional skills.

Addressing the programme, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rajive Mohan Pant said that skill-based education has become increasingly important alongside higher education in today’s rapidly evolving world. He emphasised that students must acquire not only academic knowledge but also industry-relevant skills, innovative thinking, and the ability to solve real-world problems. He noted that initiatives such as the Mahindra Skill Development Centre are playing a vital role in developing a skilled workforce to realise the vision of Viksit Bharat.
Among those present at the programme were Prof. M. Gangabhushan of the Department of Agricultural Engineering, other faculty members of the department, Mahindra & Mahindra trainer Lalan Prasad Yadav, and MSDC representative Sabyasachi Dafadar.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Dr. Ajita Tiwari, In-Charge Head of the Department of Agricultural Engineering and Coordinator of the Mahindra Skill Development Centre, congratulated the participants and said that the primary objective of the programme was to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical industry experience. She added that the training enabled students to develop practical skills while providing opportunities to interact with experts and strengthen their professional competencies.

The trainees also shared their experiences during the programme. Conveying a message from Don Lewis, Head of the Mahindra Skill Development Centre, Sabyasachi Dafadar commended the participants for their dedication, discipline, and sincerity. He said that the Mahindra Skill Development Centre remains committed to promoting experiential learning, innovation, and employment-oriented skill development through strong partnerships between industry and educational institutions.
