Heroine worth Rs 1.5 crore seized, 2 arrested

way2barak June 1: Acting on reliable input regarding the illegal transportation of Narcotics in Digorkhal under Kalain PS, a Maruti Baleno vehicle bearing registration No. AS 01 ET 6933, coming towards Kalain side, was intercepted .
Upon searching vehicle in the presence of independent witnesses and under videography, the following articles were recovered and seized by the police:

a) 22 soap cases containing 258 gms suspected Heroine
b) Two mobile phones.
c) One Baleno car

The DDK kit showed positive for Heroine.

The apprehended persons are as follows:
1. Ashikur Rahman(27),
2. Muktar Hussain(24),
As per police statement, the value in black market worth Rs 1.5 crores approximately.
Further legal action is being taken.
