Three Assam University Students Excel in GATE 2026
গেট ২০২৬-এ কৃতিত্ব আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের তিন পড়ুয়ার

ওয়ে টু বরাক, ২০ মার্চ : সর্বভারতীয় প্রতিযোগিতামূলক পরীক্ষা ‘গেট ২০২৬’-এ সাফল্য অর্জন করলেন আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের গণিত বিভাগের তিন মেধাবী ছাত্র। এরা হলেন কৌশিক দে, মানস দাস এবং রাজর্ষি সরস্বতী। সর্বভারতীয় স্তরে তাঁদের র‍্যাঙ্ক যথাক্রমে ১৬৮, ৫২৯ ও ১০৬২। তাঁদের এই সাফল্যে খুশির হাওয়া বইছে গণিত বিভাগ সহ পুরো বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে। উপাচার্য সহ বিভাগীয় অধ্যাপকরা এই সাফল্যে খুশি ব্যক্ত করে তাঁদের উষ্ণ অভিনন্দন জানিয়েছেন।

উল্লেখ্য, গ্র্যাজুয়েট অ্যাপটিটিউড টেস্ট ইন ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং (গেট) দেশের এক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ জাতীয়স্তরের পরীক্ষা। এই পরীক্ষার মাধ্যমে ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং, প্রযুক্তি ও বিজ্ঞান বিষয়ের স্নাতক স্তরের জ্ঞান মূল্যায়ন করা হয় এবং উচ্চশিক্ষা ও বিভিন্ন চাকরির ক্ষেত্রে এর বিশেষ গুরুত্ব রয়েছে। তাঁদের এই সাফল্য কেবল ব্যক্তিগত অর্জন নয়, বরং গণিত বিভাগের সামগ্রিক শিক্ষার মান, অধ্যবসায় এবং অ্যাকাডেমিক উৎকর্ষের প্রতিফলন। বিভাগীয় প্রধান অধ্যাপক নবেন্দু সেন জানিয়েছেন, কঠোর পরিশ্রম, নিয়মিত অধ্যয়ন ও সঠিক দিকনির্দেশনার ফলেই এই সাফল্য সম্ভব হয়েছে।

এদিকে উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক রাজীব মোহন পন্থ, নিবন্ধক ড. প্রদোষ কিরণ নাথ সহ বিভাগীয় অধ্যাপকরা এই তিন কৃতী ছাত্রকে আন্তরিক অভিনন্দন ও শুভেচ্ছা জানিয়েছেন। তাঁদের এই সাফল্য ভবিষ্যতে অন্য শিক্ষার্থীদেরও অনুপ্রাণিত করবে বলে আশা প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় সূত্রে এখবর জানানো হয়েছে।

Way2barak, March 20 : Three meritorious students from the Department of Mathematics at Assam University have achieved remarkable success in the nationwide competitive examination Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026. The successful candidates are Koushik Dey, Manas Das, and Rajarshi Saraswati, who secured All India Ranks 168, 529, and 1062 respectively. Their outstanding achievement has brought a wave of happiness and pride across the Mathematics Department as well as the entire university. The Vice-Chancellor and faculty members of the department have expressed their happiness and extended warm congratulations to the students.

It is noteworthy that the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is one of India’s most prestigious national-level examinations. It evaluates undergraduate-level knowledge in engineering, technology, and science, and plays a crucial role in higher education admissions and employment opportunities.
