Yoga Education promotion : Silchar Niramaya and MBB university Tripura interested to work jonitly

Way2barak, July 30 : Representatives from the Silchar Niramaya-School of Yoga Education (NSYE) have visited Tripura to promote yoga education. On Monday, July 28, officials from Silchar Niramaya, along with the Indian Yoga Association and Paramanand Institute of Yoga sciences & research, participated in a discussion titled “Yoga Education Promotion” at Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) University in Agartala.
The meeting was chaired by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Bibhas Deb on behalf of the university. Registrar Dr. Sumanta Chakraborty, Controller Jyotiprasad Debbarma, Dr. Anuj Kanchan Dattaray, Dr. Debdatta Adak, Dr. Runu Dhar, Dr. Jhuma Majumder, Dr. Rakesh Roy, Rebeka Debbarma, and others were also Present.

On behalf of Niramaya and the Indian Yoga Association Director and North-East Zonal Head Shatakshi Bhattacharjee , Legacy Person and “Yoga Bandhu” member Pallab Kanti Deb were present here. Paramanand Yoga was represented by its North-East Regional Director Divya Gitananda.
On this occasion, Niramaya and other yoga institutions presented a commemorative souvenir and “Glimpses of Niramaya” to Vice-Chancellor Dr. Bibhas Deb and the university, acknowledging their contribution to the promotion of yoga education.

Dr. Bibhas Deb stated that MBB University consistently believes in positive and constructive ideas. Therefore, the university is eager to collaborate with Niramay to bring the light of proper yoga education to students, teachers, and non-teaching staff. Furthermore, there is also a vision for people from various strata of society to achieve a healthy mind and body through this yoga process. The NSS branch is already working on these initiatives in rural areas. Dr. Bibhas expressed his belief that a future relationship with Niramay will open doors to various opportunities related to yoga education and smooth the progress of work in this field.

Registrar Dr. Sumanta Chakraborty also presented his views. Shatakshi Bhattacharjee provided a detailed overview of Niramay and the Indian Yoga Association’s activities across the country, abroad, and particularly throughout North-East India. This included discussions on workshops, awareness programs, certifications, special yoga programs for women, and many other initiatives. Dr. Debdatta discussed the yoga-related programs at MBB University. Finally, some action plans were decided upon during the meeting.
