6 soap cases heroin recovered in Baurikandi

way2barak,  June 15 : Cachar Police acting on reliable input raided a house of one Nazma Begum Laskar, 50 yrs W/O Lt. Abdul Haque Laskar, Baurikandi-II under Kachudaram PS today and recovered 6 soap cases containing suspected heroine weighing about 72 gms and  cash Rs. 16.23 lacs.

SSP Cachar, Numal Mahatta says that the Drug Detection Kit examination showed positive result for heroine. The recovered items values approx Rs. 50 lakhs in black market.

Seizure has been done in presence of Independent witnesses under videography. Further investigation into the matter has been on.
