CBSE announces Class 10 & 12 results: Good performance by Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Silchar

July 22: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 12 results on Friday. The results can be accessed at https://cbseresults.nic.in. Also, candidates can check their results via the DigiLocker app. This year, over 14 lakh students appeared for CBSE Class 12 exams.

Students of Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Silchar performed well in Class X and XII Examinations, the results for which were declared on Friday.

Results of Class X of Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Silchar: 

A total of 138 students appeared in Class X Examinations from Maharishi and all the students passed. The toppers from the school are:

• Sanjiban Paul: 97.8%
• Anuja Bhattacharjee: 97.4%
• Somnath Dutta: 95.4%

The school authorities informed that 13 students secured 90% & above marks, 42 got 80% to 90%, 35 secured 70% to 80%, 24 got 60% to 70%, whereas, 24 scored below 60%. A total of 360 letter marks were secured by the students in different subjects. These are: 88 letters in English, 94 in Hindi, 11 in Mathematics (Basic), 29 in Mathematics (Standard), 42 in Science, 59 in Social Science and 37 in Information Technology.

The following students scored subject-wise highest marks:

• English: Uttara Paul- 99
• Hindi: Anuja Bhattacharjee & Sanjiban Paul: 97
• Mathematics (Basic): Devraj Banik: 94
• Mathematics (Standard)- 99
• Science: Anuja Bhattacharjee & Sanjiban Paul: 99
• Social Science: Anuja Bhattacharjee: 99
• Information Technology: Shrestha Paul: 92

Results of Class XII of Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Silchar: 

A total of 188 students appeared in Class XII Examinations from Maharishi and all the students passed.

1. Humanities: Total Appeared: 39  Passed: 39

The toppers from the school in Humanities are: Nanida Aktar Barbhuiya (93%), Uma Das (91.8%) & Tanaya Chakraborty (91.4%). 04 students secured 90% above marks, 19 got marks between 70% to 90%, 13 secured 60% to 70% and 03 got marks below 60%.

2. Commerce: Total Appeared: 51  Passed: 51

The toppers from the school in Commerce are: Satyajit Deb (95.4%), Kripesh Roy Karmakar (93.6%) and Priti Banik (93.2%). 04 students secured 90% above marks, 18 got marks between 70% to 90%, 21 secured 60% to 70% and 08 got marks below 60%.

3. Science: Total Appeared: 98  Passed: 98

The toppers from the school in Science are: Diptorup Das (97.4%), Fardina Yasmin Fahima (96%) and Diptangshu Chakraborty & Tapasnigdha Sen (95.8%). 15 students secured 90% above marks, 60 got marks between 70% to 90%, 18 secured 60% to 70% and 05 got marks below 60%.

A total of 488 letter marks were secured by the students in different subjects of all the three streams (Humanities, Commerce & Science). These are: 131 letters in English, 17 in Hindi, 16 in History, 12 in Political Science, 13 in Geography, 20 in Economics, 100 in P. Education, 16 in Business Studies, 09 in Accountancy, 02 in Applied Maths, 32 in Physics, 23 in Mathematics, 37 in Chemistry, 40 in Biology, 05 in Computer Science and 15 in IP.
