74 found Covid +ve in Assam on Sunday, active cases 574 in the state

July 3: On Sunday, out of 832 tests, 74 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus stands at 7,25,110. The positivity rate in the state is 8.89 percent. Out of the 74 positive cases, 56 were detected from Kamrup Metro, 06 from Darrang, 05 from Goalpara and 02 each from Dibrugarh.

Further, on Sunday, none died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,639. The recovery rate is 98.82 percent. 50 persons were discharged during the day. So far, 7,16,548 persons got cured and were discharged. There are at present 574 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Saturday, 110 persons tested positive in Assam and no death was registered.
