Huge consignment of 1183 kg ganja seized by Karimganj police, 2 nabbed

May 18: A team led by Sub Inspector Niranjan Das and UBC Arun Pator has seized a huge consignment of 1183 kg ganja from a truck coming from a neighbouring state at Churaibari, Karimganj. Two accused from Haryana and Uttar Pradesh respectively were apprehended. Appreciating the move, Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Great job @assampolice. Keep up the good work!”
