1 found Covid +ve in Assam on Wednesday; none discharged & active cases 5 in the state

May 11: On Wednesay, out of 863 tests, no person was detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus stands at 7,24,220. The positivity rate in the state is 0.12 percent. One person was detected as Covid-19positive in Kamrup Metro district. Further, on Wednesday, none died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,639. The recovery rate is 98.90 percent. No person was discharged during the day. There are at present 05 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Tuesday, none person tested positive in Assam and no death was registered.
