Flower tubs put up at Sadarghat bridge by Silchar Municipal Board for beautification

May 2: In a move to enhance greenery and beautification, Silchar Municipal Board (SMB) fitted flower tubs in all the electric poles along the Sadarghat bridge. The project entitled ‘Bridge greenery with flower vase’ by Silchar Municipal Board at Sadarghat Bridge was inaugurated last week by M.L.A, Silchar Dipayan Chakraborty in presence of the Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli, District Development Commissioner Rajib Roy, ADC & E.O ( SMB), Assistant Commissioner, Cachar and other officials.

Speaking during the inauguration of this beautification drive, MLA Silchar said, “This is one more effort for beautification of the city. Request public to help us maintain it.”
