Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla is on a Five-day Visit to Assam

April 8: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla is on a five-day visit to Assam. During the tour, he will participate in various programmes related to Commonwealth Parliamentary Associations. He will attend the inaugural session of the Executive Committee meeting of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Associations at 9.00 am. on 9 April, 2022. After that he will visit the Kamakhya Temple at 11.30 am.

The Speaker will also participate in a programme at ITA Centre Machkhowa at 4.30 pm. Speaker Om Birla will inaugurate the eight convention of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Associations India Region on 11 April. During this, he will also participate in various sessions to be held throughout the day. He will conclude the conference on 12 April at 12.30 pm. The same evening at 6.20 he will leave for New Delhi.
