2 new Commerce & 8 Science streams to be started in colleges of Assam: Cabinet

Jan. 19: The weekly Cabinet Meeting was held in Haflong on Wednesday. During the meeting, a number of important decisions were taken. After the meeting, Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma addressed the media in which he conveyed the decisions taken in the weekly cabinet. The Chief Minister informed that 2 new Commerce and 8 Science streams will be introduced in the colleges of Assam. These new commerce and science streams will start functioning from the next academic session.

The 2 commerce streams will be started at

• Marigaon College
• Budhram Madhab College, Sualkuchi

The 8 Science streams will be started at

• Moridhol College, Dhemaji
• Bhavanipur College
• Salbari College
• Tejpur College
• Bashugaon College
• BB Kishan College, Baksa
• Tinkhong College
• MC Das College, Sonai
