Compulsory Covid tests for passengers without double dose & travellers below 15 years in Assam

Jan. 14: As the number of Covid cases are increasing by leaps and bounds, rules for travelers are being made more strict. National Health Mission (NHM), Assam in a tweet on Friday informed, “Compulsory COVID tests for unvaccinated or single dose passengers and travelers below 15 years old.” That means passengers travelling to Assam who have not taken double dose Covid vaccine shall undergo mandatory Covid test. Also, those who have taken only the 1st dose will also be compulsorily tested on arrival in Assam. Apart from this, passengers below the age of 15 years shall also have to undergo Covid test on entry to Assam.
