130 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Friday, 135 discharged & no deaths registered

Dec. 17: On Friday, out of 32,281 tests, 130 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,19,298. The positivity rate in the state is 0.40 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 66 positive cases during the day. Further, on Friday, none died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,141. The recovery rate is 98.61 percent. Also, 135 patients were discharged during the day. At present, there are 1,094 active cases in the state.

It needs mention here that on Thursday, 180 persons tested positive in Assam and 04 deaths were registered.
