101 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Sunday, 158 discharged & 4 deaths registered

Dec 5: On Sunday, out of 16,000 tests, 101 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,17,576. The positivity rate in the state is 0.63 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 56 positive cases during the day. Further, on Sunday, 04 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,120. The recovery rate is 98.61 percent. Also, 158 patients were discharged during the day. At present, there are 1,143 active cases in the state.

It needs mention here that on Saturday, 169 persons tested positive in Assam and 3 deaths were registered.
