CM Sonowal inaugurates Circle Office at Udharbond

January 3: January 3: A day before the meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, state Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal arrived at Silchar on Thursday evening. Though he was supposed to come to Silchar much early, but he finally reached Kumbhirgram airport in a special flight at 6.30 in the evening.

From the airport, the Chief Minister went by road to Udharbond. There at Udharbond, Sonowal inaugurated the newly constructed Circle Office. He inaugurated the Circle Office by cutting the ribbon. He also got introduced to some of the newly elected Panchayat representatives.

In his brief speech, CM Sonowal highlighted about the various developmental works undertaken by the BJP government. He further said that the people of Barak Valley are eagerly awaiting to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday. The programme was also attended by Minister Parimal Suklabaidya, MLA Mihir Kanti Shome, Circle Officer Kuldeep Hazarika among others.
