207 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Tuesday, 157 discharged & 2 deaths registered

Nov. 23: On Tuesday, out of 36,720 tests, 207 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,15,781. The positivity rate in the state is 0.56 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 91 positive cases during the day. Further, on Tuesday, 02 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,079. The recovery rate is 98.53 percent. Also, 157 patients were discharged during the day. At present, there are 1,629 active cases in the state.

It needs mention here that on Monday, 192 persons tested positive in Assam and 05 deaths were registered.
