Rahul take decisions without holding any position in Congress, alleges senior leader Natwar Singh

Oct. 1: Veteran Congress leader and former union minister Natwar Singh has now trained guns on Rahul Gandhi. He alleged that Rahul Gandhi is taking decisions without holding any official position in the Congress party. The veteran leader after the recent political crisis in Punjab stated that the Gandhis are largely responsible for the mess.

In an interview to a private television channel, veteran congress leader Natwar Singh said, “The Congress was one of the greatest democratic parties in the world. Today it’s in a pathetic mess.” He also said that Amarinder Singh has been in Congress politics since 52 years. His resignation is definitely due to the faulty policies of the Congress party.

Once a Gandhi loyalist, Natwar Singh has suddenly trained guns against them is indeed not a good news for the Congress party. The veteran Congress leader said that the Gandhis were accountable for the Congress’ state of affairs. “Who else is calling the shots? Ghulam Nabi Azad is not, AK Antony is not. Nobody in the working committee is. It’s the family that’s calling the shots,” Singh said.

Natwar Singh had left the Congress after a 25-year association over his fallout with Sonia Gandhi.
