All Puja Committees in Cachar asked to seek permission from Circle Officers within 5 Oct

Sept. 28: As per the General Guidelines issued on 15 September, 2021 by the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Assam, a notice was issued by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Cachar on Tuesday. The notification stated that the Puja Committees are to obtain prior permission for organising Durga Puja. The permission is to be sought from the respective Circle Offices within 5 October, 2021.

The notification stated, “It is hereby requested to all the President/ Secretary of the Barwadi Durga Puja Committee/ Mandir Durga Puja Committed Head of the family willing to organize Durga Puja in Cachar District to take permission for organizing Durga Puja from their respective Circle Offices (Lakhlpur/ Sonai/ Udharbond/ Katigorah/ DDMA in case of Silchar Sadar Revenue Circle area) within 5th October, 2021 positively. This is as per the General Guidelines issued vide Memo No.HLA 264/2020/55 Dated: 15th September, 2021 from Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Assam.”
