4 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Wednesday, 10 discharged

Aug 11: Hailakandi registered 04 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday. Of the 04 positive cases detected on Wednesday, all of them was found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas none were detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 47 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 4,370 RAT tests and 968 RT-PCR tests were done. 10 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,840 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,370 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 2 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Tuesday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, during the day, 1,137 persons were administered Covid-19 vaccines.
