Swapnil becomes President & Prasenjit Secretary of Rotaract Club of Silchar

July 28: The 20th Installation ceremony of Rotaract Club of Silchar took place in the Rotary Club premises on 26 July. The ceremony was organised obeying the Covid protocols. Suhan Ahmed Swapnil and Prasenjit Debnath took oath as the President and Secretary of Rotaract Club of Silchar respectively.

The chief guest of the Installation Ceremony was the new President of Rotary Club of Silchar, Gautam Paul. The Immediate Past Assistant Governor was the Guest of Honour of the occasion. During the ceremony, the outgoing President of Rotaract Club felicitated some of the members of the club. The report of the Secretary was read which was unanimously approved by the House.

As per the tradition, the charter was handed over to the new President Suhan Ahmed Swapnil by the outgoing President Sharmila. In a similar way, the outgoing Secretary Rima presented the charter to the new Secretary  Prasenjit Debnath. During the occasion, PDG Arijit Endow, President of Inner Wheel Club of Silchar Shilpi Ghosh and its Secretary Minu Gope were also present. The Installation programme was compered by Samujjal Bhattacharjee and Sanchari Paul. This was informed in a press release by the PRO Suchetana Bhattacharjee.
