Only 9 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Monday, 17 discharged

July 19: Hailakandi registered only 09 new COVID-19 cases on Monday. Of the 09 positive cases detected on Monday, all of them have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas none were detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 86 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,537 RAT tests and 246 RT-PCR tests were done. 17 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,706 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,197 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 04 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Sunday. Till date 48 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. A total of 2,446 persons were vaccinated in the district on Monday.
