9 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Thursday, 8 discharged

July 15: Hailakandi registered 09 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday. Of the 09 positive cases detected on Thursday, 07 of them have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas 02 persons were detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 114 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,416 RAT tests and 313 RT-PCR tests were done. 08 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,678 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,142 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 15 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Wednesday. Till date 47 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.
