993 patients discharged in Assam on Tuesday

August 4: On Tuesday, 993 patients were discharged from various hospitals across Assam. With this, 34,421 persons were discharged in Assam till date. Further, on Tuesday, 2886 persons were tested COVID-19 positive. At present, the number of active cases in the state stands at 13,622. Six more persons died due to COVID-19 in Assam, thereby taking the death tally to 115. In a tweet, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “993 patients discharged today. Our recovery rate keeps on improving everyday, boosting our confidence in this fight against pandemic.”
