929 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Tuesday, 16 deaths registered

Aug 10: On Tuesday, out of 1,14,152 tests, 929 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 5,76,149. The positivity rate in the state is 0.81 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 155 positive cases during the day. Further, on Tuesday, 16 more persons lost their lives in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 5,420. The recovery rate is 97.14 percent.

It needs mention here that on Monday, 1,120 persons tested positive in Assam and 17 deaths were registered.
