86 found +ve in Assam on Sunday, active cases 1,607 in the state

July 10: On Sunday, out of 840 tests, 86 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus stands at 7,26,541. The positivity rate in the state is 10.24 percent. Out of the 86 positive cases, 49 were detected from Kamrup Metro, 04 from Kamrup Rural, 05 from Dibrugarh and 08 from Cachar.

Further, on Sunday, none died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,641. The recovery rate is 98.68 percent. 20 persons were discharged during the day. So far, 7,16,943 persons got cured and were discharged. There are at present 1,607 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Saturday, 211 persons tested positive in Assam and no death was registered.
