85 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Monday, 107 discharged

May 24: Hailakandi registered 85 new COVID-19 cases on Monday. Of the 85 positive cases detected on Monday, 81 have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and 04 found positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 743 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,645 RAT tests and 395 RT-PCR tests were done. 107 patients were discharged during the day. It needs mention here that 103 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Sunday. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 5,345. Till date, 18 persons have died in Hailakandi due to Covid-19

As of now, in the 50,980 persons have received the 1st dose of the vaccine (irrespective of age), whereas, 15,407 have been administered the 2nd dose in Hailakandi district.
