79 found Covid +ve in Assam, 959 discharged & 4 deaths registered on Sunday

Feb. 13: On Sunday, out of 9,533 tests, 79 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 7,23,495. The positivity rate in the state is 0.83 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 45 positive cases during the day. Further, on Sunday, 04 died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,605. The recovery rate is 98.56 percent. Also, 959 persons were discharged during the day. There are at present 2,499 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Saturday, 172 persons tested positive in Assam and 05 deaths were registered.
