760 found Covid +ve in Assam on Monday, active cases 5,605 in the state

July 25: On Monday, out of 8,499 tests, 760 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus stands at 7,35,621. The positivity rate in the state is 8.94 percent. Out of the 760 positive cases, the high case load districts are: Dibrugarh (64), Goalpara (57), Baksa (51), Dhemaji (47) and Biswanath (42).

Further, on Monday, none died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,662. The recovery rate is 98 percent. 682 persons were discharged during the day. So far, 7,22,002 persons got cured and were discharged. There are at present 5,605 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Sunday, 113 persons tested positive in Assam and 01 death was registered.
