75 tests +ve in Assam on Tuesday; 113 patients discharged

Dec. 22: On Tuesday, out of 23,164 tests, 75 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,15,585 out of which, 3,483 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.32 percent.

On Tuesday, 113 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,11,075 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Further, during the day, 04 more patient died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally of the state now stands at 1024.
