Sunday lockdown imposed in 7 cities of Madhya Pradesh; schools, colleges shut till 31 March

March 24: After Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur, Sunday lockdown has been imposed in 4 more cities of Madhya Pradesh. These cities are: Ratlam, Khargone, Betul and Chhindwara. After a surge in coronavirus cases, this decision was taken on Wednesday by Vishvas Kailash Sarang, Medical Education Minister of Madhya Pradesh. Apart from the Sunday lockdown, it was also informed that the schools and colleges in these 7 cities will remain closed till 31 Sarang. At present, there are 10,000 active COVID-19 cases in Madhya Pradesh.
