666 tests +ve in Assam on Tuesday; 1201 patients discharged
Oct. 20: On Tuesday, out of 38,585 tests only 666 were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,02,073, out of which, 26,775 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 1.73 percent.
On Tuesday, 1201 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 1,74,411 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 09 more persons in the state died due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death tally of the state to 884.
