19th convocation of Assam University to be now held on 5 to 7 May, 2022

March 30: In a notification issued by Dr PK Nath, Registrar of Assam University on 30 March, it was stated that the 19th Convocation, which was earlier postponed will now be held on 5 to 7 May, 2022. He further stated that the latest updates in this connection will be notified in the university website.

“In continuation and partial modification of earlier Notification dated 14 03.2022, it is hereby notified that the 19th Convocation of Assam University will be held on 5th May, 6th May and 7th May, 2022. The detailed programme schedule will be notified shortly. Students are requested to visit the University website frequently for latest updates,” stated the Registrar.

Earlier, on 9 February, 2022, it was notified that the 19th Convocation of Assam University will be held on 6 April, 2022. The dress rehearsal was also supposed to be held on 5 April, 2022. However, on 14 March, it was stated that the 19th Convocation to be held on 6 April, 2022 has been postponed “due to some unavoidable circumstances.
