555 patients discharged in Assam on Friday

July 17: On Friday, a total of 555 patients were discharged from across various hospitals in Assam. Till now, 14,105 patients have recovered in the state and were discharged. As of now, there are 6487 active cases in the state. Further On Friday, one more patient died due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death tally of the state to 51. In a tweet, State health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “555 patients discharged today in Assam. Good to see the rate at which recoveries are exceeding active number of patients.”
