After Jamia Shooting, another man opens fire at Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh

February 2: A man identified as Kapil opened fire at Shaheen Bagh in Delhi where women of all ages have been protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) since December. This shocking incident occured just two days after a teen shooter fired at protesters at Jamia Millia University. The man was later on caught by the people and handed over to the police.

While being taken into custody, he allegedly shouted, “Sirf Hinduon ki hi chalegi, kisi aur ki nahi chalegi (only Hindus will rule).” As per reports, shot in the air twice behind the stage at the protest site outside the barricaded area at 4:53 pm. There were no immediate reports of any casualties or injuries.
