53 more tests +ve, biggest one-time spike so far, total jumps up to 319

May 23: In what appears to be the biggest one-time spike in the number of coronavirus patients, 53 persons were reported to be infected with COVID-19 positive on Saturday.

• 44 from Sarusajai Quarantine Centre in Guwahati
• 7 from Dima Hasao
• 2 from Cachar

With this the total number of coronavirus patients in the state have jumped upto 319, with 258 active cases.

Alert ~ Fifty three new #COVID19 + cases confirmed – 44 from Sarusajai Quarantine Centre, 7 from Dima Hasao district and 2 from Cachar.
