5 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Sunday, 1 discharged

July 25: Hailakandi registered only 5 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday. Of the 5 positive cases detected on Saturday, all of them have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas none were detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 74 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 655 RAT tests and 74 RT-PCR tests were done. 01 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,754 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,256 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 11 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Saturday. Till date 49 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.
