2 each found Covid+ve in Karimganj & Hailakandi on Friday

Dec. 24: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Friday, Hailakandi registered 02 new COVID-19 cases. The district has altogether has 12 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 770 RAT tests and 90 RT-PCR tests were done. No patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,937 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,498 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that no persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Thursday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 1,939 persons were vaccinated on Thursday.

Karimganj registered 02 fresh COVID case on Friday. The district has currently 14 active COVID cases, while no patients were discharged on Friday. 687 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that 01 person was detected positive in Karimganj on Thursday.
