479 new cases detected in Assam on Thursday, state tally cross 9000-mark

July 2:On Thursday, 479 new positive cases were detected in Assam. With this, the state tally has crossed the 9000-mark and have reached 9434. At present, there are 3311 active cases in Assam. A total of 6106 patients were discharged till now from across Assam. Sharing this information, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Alert ~ 479 new #COVID19+ cases detected today. Out of these, 238 cases were reported from Guwahati City alone. Request people to take proper precautions.”
