351 tests COVID-19 +ve in Assam on Sunday, 1 death registered

April 11: On Sunday, out of 73,329 tests, 351 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,20,310. The positivity rate in the state is 0.48 percent. At present, there are 1,902 active cases in the state. Kamrup (M) district recorded 186 cases during the day.

On Sunday, 36 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,15,943, patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by NHM, Assam. The recovery rate in the state is 98.02%.

Further, during the day, 01 more patient died in Assam due to COVID-19. The deceased is from  Lakhimpur district. The death tally of the state now stands at 1,118.
