344 found Covid +ve in Assam on Monday, active cases 1,858 in the state

July 11: On Monday, out of 2,970 tests, 344 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus stands at 7,26,885. The positivity rate in the state is 11.58 percent. Out of the 344 positive cases, the high case load districts are: Kamrup Metro (43), Kamrup Rural (43), Dibrugarh (58) and Dhubri (22).

Further, on Monday, none died in the state due to COVID-19. The death toll in the state stands at 6,641. The recovery rate is 98.65 percent. 93 persons were discharged during the day. So far, 7,17,036 persons got cured and were discharged. There are at present 1,858 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Sunday, 86 persons tested positive in Assam and no death was registered.
