33 more test positive in Assam, state tally rises to 1057

May 29: Another 33 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from Assam. Confirming this news, State health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted at 11.59 PM on Friday. With this, the state tally of coronavirus infected patients have gone upto 1057, out of which 925 are active cases. The 33 new cases were detected from 4 districts, which are:

• 11 Golaghat
• 11 Biswanath Chariali
• 9 Udalguri
• 2 Darrang
